Bulk Tank Truck Driver - Class A CDL (Buda, TX)
AHI Supply is offering a $1,500 sign on bonus to drivers. Bulk Drivers average $1,100 per week (55 to 60 hours per week), home every night, off every other weekend (most of the time), company issued cell phone.

Summary: The person in this position will drive a pneumatic dry bulk cement truck to haul lime and other cement products from one local location to another. When the driver returns to the company, he/she may be required to attach the transfer hoses to appropriate silos and operate controls to transfer material. When at material supplier's location this person will climb the safety ladder, open/close the hatch and attach hoses to fill the tank with the dry bulk product. Some suppliers load the trucks and some are loaded by the driver. This position is also responsible for pre and post trip inspections, DOT logs, compliance with DOT regulations, and other activities related to DOT compliance and reporting.
Qualifications: Qualified candidates must have:
oValid Class A CDL & tanker endorsement
o2-5 years recent driving experience
oExperience driving a tractor trailer
oGood driving record
oStable employment history
Schedule: Normal schedule is Monday through Friday beginning as early as 4am and working a 10-12 hour shift per day. Candidates must be willing and able to work overtime and weekends with or without notice.
Benefits: After 90 days of employment, drivers are eligible for medical and dental insurance, Allstate supplemental policies (Accident, Critical Illness, Group Supplemental Health Insurance, Voluntary Disability), and Voluntary Life Insurance. After 1 year of employment, employees are eligible to participate in the 401k program.
Paid Time Off
Benefits: After 90 days of employment, 6 paid holidays and 4 paid sick days. After one year of employment, drivers receive 5 paid vacation days.
Driver candidates must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test and DOT pre-employment physical.
Candidates must submit to a criminal background check. Convictions do not automatically bar a candidate from employment and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
