Project Executive, TexasEdge Electric, a leading electrical contracting and service company focused on large-scale commercial projects, is looking for an experienced Executive to join our Texas office, based in the Buda area.
The Project Executive is responsible for building and overseeing the Project Management Team, working closely with Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Construction Finance Manager, Estimators, and CFO.
The ideal Project Executive has deep experience in electrical contracting and is expected to have excellent leadership and mentoring skills, and possess a strong financial acumen in project management.
Responsibilities:
Build and lead the Project Management TeamTrain and mentor Project ManagersCreate processes and procedures for best-in-class project management that include the use of automated systems.
High-level financial and operational oversight of all active projectsWork closely with Estimating TeamAttend all internal project handoff meetingsResolve escalated customer relations issuesLead internal project budget meetingsReview and analyze project budgetsReview monthly WIP reportingAssist with financial forecastingBuild strong Project Management teams for each projectInteract with the customer to validate that expectations are understood and met before, during, and after project completionMaintain workforce capacity planEnsure processes and procedures are being executed appropriatelyProactively communicate challenges, risks, and successes Skills &
Experience:
Minimum of 10
years of project management in electrical contracting, ideally in commercial workExtensive experience overseeing and coordinating with field construction teamsDemonstrated ability to oversee a profitable portfolio of projectsExtensive experience using Procore for project management.
Extensive experience in project costing/codingElectrical estimating experience is a strong plus, ideally with Accubid AnywhereTexas Electrical Journeyman's License - Strongly desiredTexas Master Electrician License - Not required but a plusStrong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office, Procore, and other ERP systems.
