In This RoleSupervise, evaluate, and train a crew of inspectors assigned to your shiftEnsure all SOP's are being followedConduct quality inspections on outbound itemsCoordinate with the Receiving team on daily inspectionsConduct root cause analysis and corrective action determination on container issuesComplete outbound inspections using Koerber softwareEnsure all Koerber entries made by your team are correct and completeRecord and disposition non-conforming materials and ensure NCM areas are cleared in a timely mannerDrive efforts to meet warehouse KPI'sWork cross functionally to assist with quality projects, shipping and additional warehouse functions as needed Uphold our Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands team Other duties as assigned by ManagementThe Ideal PersonBasic computer skills that include some warehouse management systems and Microsoft knowledgeMust be able to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly through the course of the day without assistance; and maneuver and lift up to 225lbs repeatedly with assistanceOperate manual and electric material handling equipment, such as hand jacksForklift experience/certification preferred, but not required; but must have the ability to be trainedAbility to identify items on all paperwork including, but not limited to:
customer orders and labels, manifest documents, packing lists, stock receipts, and bill of ladings Comfortable working independently and in a team environment Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed Required to wear steel toed boots/shoes at all times during work hoursBenefitsCompetitive hourly wages Generous flexible time off program - 2 weeks a year!
