About the Role Verge Aero is a fast-growing startup looking for a highly motivated individual to work closely with the CEO to manage the company's global customer-facing activities.
The Operations Manager is responsible for a wide variety of activities, including customer support, training, repairs, inventory, fulfillment, crew scheduling, and anything else necessary to fully support our shows and customers.
You will manage a team of specialists and work closely with other parts of the organization to support our business.
Drone shows are a new industry, and the company's needs will evolve over time, so you must be a strategic thinker always looking one step ahead.
A successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and an unwavering attention to detail.
This is an in-person position in Buda, Texas.
What You Will Do ? Manage personnel (pilots, technicians, show operations) ? Manage the supply of show resources ? Develop and implement processes for efficient operations ? Manage tech support for customers worldwide ? Manage equipment transportation logistics ? Ensure high customer satisfaction ? Manage spare parts inventory using Netsuite to ensure MRP and inventory accuracy ? Continue building the team to support the company's operations Qualifications ? Bachelor's degree ? 5
years experience managing the operations of a service-focused company.
? Strong and proven experience leading field, technical repair, or manufacturing teams in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment with strong customer facing responsibilities.
? Strong communication skills; ability to work well with a diverse team ? Self starter, who will excel in a startup environment.
